Hello friends! I have today came with info about root, it's benefits and demerits. Everyone knows that android is a mobile operating system. And it is top operating system used in mobile all over world. About 85% smartphones are powered by android. 

The work of an OS is to maintain the link between the user and the hardware. When the user gives any command then the command goes to the hardware through the OS and it starts processing,after processing it gives an output to the user. You can take mobile or smartphone it works similar. So let's know what is root?

                 What Is Root?

 When a company creates any software it adds some limitations with it so that it can't be used for wrong purposes.Android is a Linux based operating system. If you did ever used Linux you probably know that it is an open source source OS and most of the people use this for security and hacking purposes.

 You can do this type of works, if your phone is rooted. Root means "Root of anything ". It helps you to reach to the root of the android. Without root you can not do this type of works. Because it doesn't give  you permission to access its system files without root.

When you right click on any software in computer you see a option "Run As Administrator" . When you root your smartphone you can use it as administrator power. You can also say that in rooted phone you have the power to do anything. Because root removes all its limitations.

             Benefits of  Root:

 There are many benefits of root. So everyone wants to know about android rooting. I have given some important points, so that you can easily understand about root.

1#. Increase Performance and Battery Life: If your mobile is  rooted,  with the help of applications you can overclock it to increase  its performance. As well as you  can  do underclock to  increase the battery life. You can not do both simultaneously. You have to choose one of these processes. Excellent balance between the two and can increase both speed and battery.


2# Install Incompatible Apps: Some old apps don't work on new versions of android. But with the help of root you can also run such types of apps. Some apps may not run completely but it will work measurably.

3# Uninstall System Apps: Some apps are  pre-installed on your phone,they called system apps. You can not uninstall these in an unrooted phone. But in rooted phone it is possible.

4# Run Root Compatible Apps:  There are some apps which do not work without root access. You can run such apps and you can also increase your phone features by using such apps.

5# Customization :  With the help of Custom ROM  you can give your smartphone a new look. As well as you can change its icons,notifiaction bar,color,font and many other elements like this.

6# Full Device Backup: There is a application named  Titanium Backup. With the help of this application you can backup your all data. Suppose there is a problem in your mobile or you want to reset your phone,then you can take that in your old version by restoring your backup. 

 Demerits of Root:

Every coins have two sides. Similarly every works have two result.

 Root doesn't give only benefits it does harm. So let's know what are those harms.

1# Your Phone Might Get Bricked: This means your phone may get Bricked completely. If your rooting  technique doesnt work correctly then your phone doesnt take boot and stuck at android logo. If you are not sure then you should doesn't try to root your phone.

2# Rooting Voids the Warranty : Every phone comes with one year warranty. If you will root your phone then your warranty will be lost. Don't fear,if you will unroot it then your warranty will be applied. Because the service center  will not ever know that your phone was  rooted.

3# Update Issue: You can't update your android with root. First you will have to unroot your phone, After that you will be able to update your android. Sometimes after unrooting the update will not work. In this case you will have to reset your phone. There is also a problem,after updating your android version your old rooting procedure will not work. Every new android version comes with a new rooting procedure.
